Evan and Courtney just came to visit us this past weekend. Evan and I have had plans to gator hunt and Courtney just booked a ticket to come join him in FL. We had great big plans to visit the zoo on Friday during their visit. As it is in FL, it rained off and on most of the day, but was actually quite nice and significantly cooler than the blistering heat of the sun that hid behind the clouds most of the day. Aunt Angie and Cousin Baron joined us as well.












We also introduced Evan and Court to 5 GUYS BURGERS & FRIES!!!!

We have been excited to take Luke to the zoo for awhile now as he is mastering his animal identification and sounds very well when looking at photos, tv or books. On Thursday Luke didn't seem himself and acted as if he was a bit 'under the weather'. Friday at the zoo wasn't much better. He had a good time there, but he seemed to lack the enthusiasm towards the animals that we had anticipated seeing. Even being a little off he still had a great time and got to see all the animals. After dinner that night he watched the slide show of the zoo visit and Luke seemed much more excited after the fact, so we know it must have been this fever he has. We will make it a priority to revisit the zoo when he is back up to his normal self.

Ouchy!!

Luke had a run- in with the sidewalk while visiting his cousin Baron. As you can see, the sidewalk won...Poor little guy. He only cried for a minute, and when I showed him his boo-boo in the mirror he smiled and patted his head and said "bump". I guess it hurt Mommy more than it hurt him. He is doing good, and I am keeping a close eye on him. I only hope and pray that it will not leave a scar.....

I bought Luke this little motorhome and he tried with all his might to be small enough to fit inside. No luck buddy!

I guess I'll just ride this one. More my size.

We added bath bubbles to Luke's water for bathtime and he wasn't too sure of it at first.
